Upside-Down Ham Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 Tbsp. brown sugar, packed
    1/2 tsp. powdered cloves
    3 pineapple slices, packed in juice
    3 c. cooked ground ham
    2 Tbsp. grated onion
    1/4 tsp. dry mustard
    3/4 c. bread crumbs
    1/4 c. pineapple juice from slices
    2 eggs, lightly beaten
    dash of cayenne pepper
    4 oz. Swiss cheese, shredded
Preparation
    Melt butter in bottom of a greased 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2-inch loaf pan.
    Combine brown sugar and cloves; sprinkle on pan. Arrange halved pineapple slices over sugar mixture.
    Combine ham and remaining ingredients except cheese; pack half of mixture over pineapple.
    Sprinkle with cheese, then pack with remaining ham mixture.
    Bake, covered, at 350\u00b0 about 45 to 50 minutes.
    Let stand 5 minutes.
    Turn upside down on a hot platter.
    Makes 6 servings.
