Fettuccine With Vegetables - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 oz. fettuccine noodles
2 c. diagonally sliced 1/2-inch thick carrots
2 c. broccoli florets
6 Tbsp. unsalted butter
2 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. milk
1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
Preparation
-
Bring 2 quarts water to boil in 3 quart pot.
Add fettuccine and carrots and cook over medium heat 6 minutes.
Add broccoli and continue to cook until carrots and broccoli are tender-crisp, about 4 minutes.
Drain.
Rinse with hot water and set aside.
