Stewed Chicken And Gravy - cooking recipe
Ingredients

large pkg. cut up fryer pieces
oil
3 c. self-rising flour
salt, to taste
pepper, to toast
garlic salt, to taste
1 onion, chopped
Preparation

In large Dutch oven, heat small amount of cooking oil. Mix flour, salt, pepper, and garlic salt; roll chicken in flour. Place chicken in hot oil; fry on both sides. Add water to cover chicken; add onions. Boil over medium heat until chicken is done; chicken will make it's own gravy.
