Seven Layer Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head iceberg lettuce, chopped
    1/2 c. red onion, diced
    1/2 green pepper, chopped
    1 pkg. frozen green peas
    1 c. celery, chopped
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 c. Miracle Whip
    shredded Cheddar cheese
    crumbled bacon
Preparation
    Fill 9 x 12-inch dish with chopped lettuce.
    Sprinkle with diced onion, chopped celery and chopped green pepper.
    Add package of frozen peas.
    In a separate bowl, mix together sugar and Miracle Whip.
    Spread dressing over salad.
    Top with shredded cheese and crumbled bacon.
    Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate.
    This can be made early morning on the day of serving.
