Puppy Chow - cooking recipe

Ingredients

8 c. cereal (Crispix, Rice/Corn or Wheat Chex)
1 c. butter
1 c. peanut butter
1 small pkg. milk chocolate chips
1 lb. powdered sugar (may need to add more)
1/2 c. pecans (optional)

Preparation

In double boiler, melt butter, peanut butter and chips. Pour over cereal and stir until well coated. (Add pecans here, if desired.) Dump into paper sack or small plastic garbage bag and add powdered sugar. Toss until well coated. Remove and spread on waxed paper to dry.
