Never Fail Caramel-Korn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks or 1 c. margarine
    2 c. light brown sugar
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
    6 qt. popped popcorn
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix first four ingredients.
    Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
    Boil five minutes, without stirring.
    Remove from heat and add vanilla and soda.
    Stir well.
    Pour over popped popcorn in two shallow pans or cookie sheets.
    Bake at 250\u00b0 for one hour, stirring and coating every 15 minutes.
    (Does not stick together and keeps well in closed container.)
