Baked Caramel Custard - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. water
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 1/2 c. milk
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

To caramelize dish, choose a heatproof 1 1/2-quart casserole or baking dish.
Place sugar and water into dish and heat on High setting for 3 to 4 minutes until sugar melts and starts to turn brown.
Watch carefully and turn dish to coat evenly.
Let caramel coating cool before pouring in the custard.
To make custard, beat remaining ingredients together and pour into caramelized dish.
Set into larger dish containing water to reach 1-inch up the side. Cook on Medium-high setting for 15 to 18 minutes until a knife inserted comes out clean.
Serves 6.
