Gourmet Pasta - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 pkg. fine (6 or 8 oz.) egg noodles
    1 c. sour cream
    2 c. grated Cheddar or American cheese
    2 tsp. salt
    2 garlic cloves, crushed
    1 pkg. (3 oz.) cream cheese
    2 Tbsp. cooking oil
    black pepper
Preparation
    Brown meat in oil.
    Add salt, pepper, tomatoes, tomato sauce and garlic.
    Simmer about 5 minutes.
    Remove garlic pulp.
    Cook noodles according to directions and drain.
    While noodles are still warm, add cheese and sour cream; mix well.
    In casserole, alternate layers of noodles mixture, beef mixture and grated cheese.
    Repeat layers until all used.
    Bake 35 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Serves 6 to 8.
