Hot German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 medium potatoes
    6 slices bacon
    1 onion, chopped
    1 stalk celery, chopped
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 tsp. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. celery seed
    dash of pepper
    1 tsp. sweet basil
    2 tsp. parsley flakes
    3/4 c. water
    1/2 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Boil potatoes in jackets.
    Peel and dice.
    Fry bacon crisp. Drain and crumble.
    Saute onion and celery in bacon grease.
    Add to onion and celery, flour, sugar, salt, celery seed, pepper, basil and parsley.
    Cook over low heat stirring until smooth and bubbly. Remove from heat and stir in water and vinegar.
    Bring to boil, stirring constantly for 1 minute.
    Carefully stir in potatoes and bacon.
    Serve warm.
