Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. white corn meal
1/4 c. flour
1 onion, chopped fine (better in blender)
1 pod garlic, chopped
1/2 tsp. salt
1 heaping Tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 eggs
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. milk

Preparation

Combine all ingredients together, mixing well with the water and milk.
Drop by teaspoon into hot grease.
Fry until brown.
