Jalapeno Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. buttermilk
2 eggs
1/4 tsp. soda
1 tsp. garlic salt
1 medium onion, chopped
2 Tbsp. melted bacon fat
1 c. yellow corn meal
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. grated cheese
1 c. cream-style corn
2 small or 1 large jalapeno pepper, chopped

Preparation

Mix ingredients and place in ovenproof pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until done or until tester comes out clean.
