Favorite Chocolate Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. margarine, softened
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    3 c. cake flour
    1/2 c. baking cocoa
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Cream shortening, margarine and sugar in mixer bowl until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
    Sift flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt together. Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk, mixing well after each addition.
    Mix in vanilla and walnuts.
    Spoon into greased and floured tube pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
    Remove to wire rack to cool.
    Yield:
    16 servings.
