Green Beans Oriental - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. frozen French green beans, slightly thawed
    1 c. diagonally cut celery
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1/4 c. salad oil
    1 c. chicken stock
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 jar pimentos, drained and chopped
    1 can water chestnuts
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. garlic salt
    1 pkg. slivered almonds
Preparation
    Simmer the first 3 ingredients in oil for 10 minutes.
    Drain. Blend 1/4 cup cold chicken stock with cornstarch.
    Stir.
    Heat remaining chicken stock to boiling and add cornstarch mixture. Stir until thickened.
    Combine everything except 1/2 package almonds.
    Turn into casserole.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Add the rest of ingredients.
