Fried Oysters - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. cracker meal
1/2 c. cornmeal
1/4 tsp. salt
pepper to taste
1 (12 oz.) container fresh oysters, drained
2 eggs, beaten
vegetable oil
Preparation

Combine first 4 ingredients in a medium bowl.
Dip oysters in egg, then dredge in meal mixture.
Fry oysters in deep, hot oil for 1 1/2 minutes or until golden, turning once.
Drain on paper towel; serve immediately.
