Ingredients

3 Tbsp. oleo
3/4 c. boiling water
1 1/2 c. milk
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
3 egg yolks
6 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix dry ingredients.
Using wire whisk, mix eggs and milk until well blended.
Add to dry ingredients and hot water.
Cook in microwave for 3 minutes on High.
Whisk and return to microwave and cook 2 3/4 to 3 minutes longer, whisking often.
Add butter and vanilla and pour into baked crust and add meringue.
