Strawberry Gelatin Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry-banana flavored gelatin
    2 c. boiling water
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen sliced strawberries
    1 (13 1/2 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    2 large ripe bananas, peeled and finely diced
    1/2 c. pecan halves
    1 c. dairy sour cream
    2 tsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. ground ginger
    dash of salt
Preparation
    Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
    Add berries, stirring occasionally, until thawed.
    Stir in pineapple, bananas and pecan halves.
    Pour into a 9 x 13-inch glass dish.
    Chill until firm, about 5 to 6 hours.
    Top with sour cream, sugar, ginger and salt. Chill well.
    Makes 8 servings.
