Raisin Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. seeded Muscat raisins
    2 c. water
    1 c. Crisco
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. soda
    1 c. cold water
    4 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    Stew raisins in 2 cups water for 15 minutes.
    Add Crisco, sugar, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, salt and soda in 1 cup cold water.
    Mix in flour.
    Put in a pan.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 3/4 hours.
