Chalupa - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 to 4 lb. boneless beef or pork roast
1 lb. washed dry pinto beans
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 Tbsp. chili powder
1 tsp. oregano
2 minced garlic cloves
7 c. water (about)
1 Tbsp. salt
1 Tbsp. cumin
1 large bag of small size Fritos
garnish (chopped green onions, cheese, olives, tomatoes, sour cream or lettuce)
Preparation

Put pork or beef roast, dry beans, onion, garlic, seasonings and water into large crock-pot.
Cover and cook for at least 10 to 12 hours, on low setting, or until meat falls apart.
Serve on top of small Fritos with your favorite garnish.
Serves several.
Meat and bean mixture freezes well.
