Cowboy Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. yellow corn meal
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1 c. sweet milk
    1/2 tsp. soda
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. Wesson oil
    1 (16 to 17 oz.) can cream-style corn
    1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 large onion, finely chopped
    1/2 lb. rat cheese or mild Cheddar cheese, grated
    2 jalapeno peppers, chipped (or 3 medium size)
Preparation
    Mix the first 7 ingredients; set aside.
    Saute the ground beef; let drain.
    Prepare the onion, cheese and peppers and place in separate mounds ready to use.
    Grease a large iron skillet; heat.
