Sweet And Sour Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 broiler-fryer chickens, cut in parts
    1/4 c. cooking oil
    1 (8 oz.) bottle Russian salad dressing
    1 envelope dry onion soup mix
    1 (10 oz.) jar apricot preserves
    1 tsp. Accent flavor enhancer
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix together all ingredients except chicken.
    Place chicken in single layer, skin side up, in large shallow baking pan; pour mixture on chicken.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 1 1/2 hours or until fork can be inserted with ease, basting occasionally with the pan drippings.
    Serve hot with plain rice.
