Ingredients

1 1/2 qt. sifted flour
4 Tbsp. baking powder
2 Tbsp. lite salt
3 c. milk
1 1/8 c. cocoa
3/4 c. melted shortening
2 Tbsp. vanilla
1 1/2 qt. packed brown sugar
2 c. cocoa
3 c. chopped nutmeats
2 1/4 qt. boiling water
Preparation

Sift together flour, baking powder, sugar, salt and cocoa.
Add milk, melted shortening and vanilla.
Mix only until smooth.
Add nutmeats.
Mix lightly and turn into greased pudding pans to a depth of 1/2-inch.
