Ricotta Puffs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. ricotta cheese
    1 egg
    1/2 tsp. grated onion
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. paprika
    Bread rounds
Preparation
    Beat cheese with egg until thoroughly blended.\tAdd onion and salt.
    Mix well.
    Toast 20 to 24, 1 3/4 inch rounds of whole-grain bread on one side.\tHeap cheese mixture on the untoasted side of the bread.\tBroil for about one minute or until brown and puffy. Sprinkle with paprika.
    Serve hot.\tYield: at least 20.
