Chow-Chow - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. cabbage
    1 c. green and red peppers, mixed
    1 hot pepper
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 doz. green tomatoes
    2 tsp. celery seed
    1 qt. vinegar
    5 Tbsp. salt
    4 c. sugar
Preparation
    Mix celery seed, vinegar, salt and sugar. Bring to a boil. Add chopped vegetables and return to a boil.
    Put in jars and seal.
