Seafood Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. chopped frozen onions
    2 Tbsp. butter or oleo
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 lb. chopped shrimp
    1 lb. crabmeat
    1 lb. scallops
    3 c. frozen hash brown potatoes
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    4 c. milk
    1/2 c. half and half
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Cook onions in the butter until tender.
    Add water until it boils.
    Add seafood.
    Cook 3 to 5 minutes, then take seafood out and put in a bowl.
    Add potatoes, salt and pepper.
    Simmer 4 to 6 minutes until potatoes are tender.
    Add milk and half and half and bring to a boil.
    Take off heat.
    Stir in cheese.
    Let stand 2 minutes.
    Put seafood back in.
    Stir and serve.
    Serves 10 (1 cup) servings.
