Old Fashion Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sq. Baker's semi-sweet dark chocolate, chopped fine
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. milk
    1 stick butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Chop chocolate fine; add sugar and milk.
    Boil to a rolling boil approximately 20 minutes over medium-high heat to soft ball stage, stirring constantly.
    Add butter and vanilla.
    Stir with pan in cold water until stiff.
    Add nuts if desired and stir quickly into 8 x 8-inch pan (coated with Pam).
    Put in refrigerator to set hard.
