Lasagna - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 onion, chopped
    garlic, minced
    1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 (16 oz.) pkg. lasagna noodles
    1 egg, beaten
    1 1/2 c. large curd cream-style cottage cheese
    1 tsp. salt
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. sliced Mozzarella cheese
    1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    In saucepan, brown the ground beef, onion and garlic.
    Add the tomato sauce, tomato paste, salt and pepper.
    Simmer for 1 hour. Cook the noodles in boiling salted water until tender; drain. Combine the egg, cottage cheese and 1 teaspoon of salt; mix well. Grease a 3-quart casserole dish.
    Layer 1/2 the noodles, 1/2 the meat sauce, 1/2 the cottage cheese, 1/2 the Mozzarella and 1/2 the Parmesan.
    Repeat layers.
    Bake in a 375\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes.
