Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1 1/2 c. cornmeal
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/2 c. bacon drippings
    2 eggs
    1 c. grated cheese
    2 jalapeno peppers, chopped
    1 c. sour cream or buttermilk
    1 can Mexicorn or plain whole kernel corn (small can)
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together except the cheese.
    Pour half the mixture into a greased hot skillet.
    Sprinkle half the cheese over that.
    Repeat with remainder of batter and cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
