Chicken Honolulu - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 broiler fryer
    1/4 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    enough oil to fry the chicken
    1 (1 oz.) jar peach preserves
    1/4 c. barbecue sauce
    1 (6 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained and sliced
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
Preparation
    Cut chicken into chunks. Coat with flour and brown.
    Combine preserves, barbecue sauce, onion and soy sauce; pour over drained browned chicken. Cover and simmer 40 minutes. Add chestnuts the last 10 minutes. Serve chicken on a bed of hot rice.
