Savory Chicken Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 qt. rich chicken broth, fat removed
1/4 tsp. rosemary
1/4 tsp. thyme
1/4 tsp. poultry seasoning
1 tsp. dried parsley
1/2 tsp. celery salt
1/8 tsp. white pepper
3 Tbsp. finely chopped onion
1 carrot, diced
1/2 c. peas
1/2 c. finely chopped chicken
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. regular raw rice (white or brown)
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
dash of cayenne pepper (if desired)
Preparation

In a stock pot, combine broth, seasonings, vegetables, chicken and rice.
Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer about 30 minutes or until vegetables and rice are tender.
Add a little cold water to cornstarch and stir into soup to thicken.
Simmer 5 minutes.
Taste for seasoning and add a dash of cayenne pepper, if desired.
