Fish Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 lb. beef bacon or imitation bacon, cut in small pieces
    2 stalks celery, chopped
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 c. sliced cooked carrots
    1 (8 oz.) can whole kernel corn or frozen corn
    2 c. boiling water
    1/2 c. white wine
    1 bay leaf
    1/4 tsp. thyme
    1/8 tsp. white pepper
    1/4 tsp. paprika
    1/8 tsp. tarragon
    2 lb. frozen fish
Preparation
    Cook bacon.
    Add celery, onion and garlic.
    Saute for 3 minutes.
    Add remaining ingredients, except salt.
    Cover and cook in large pot until fish flakes easily.
    Salt to taste.
