Bread And Butter Pickles(Microwave) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large cucumber, cut in 1/4-inch slices (2 c.)
    1 medium onion, sliced thin
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. white vinegar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. mustard seed
    1/4 tsp. celery seed
    1/4 tsp. turmeric
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients in a 2-quart microwave bowl.
    Microwave on High 7 to 8 minutes, stirring twice, until cucumber is crisp-tender and onion is transparent.
    Ladle into glass jar (rinsed with hot water to prevent cracking).
    Cover.
    Cool slightly and refrigerate.
