Wonderful Walnut (Or Pecan) Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 unbaked 8 inch piecrust shell
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter or margarine
3/4 c. sugar
3 eggs
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. Karo or maple blended syrup
1/2 c. light cream
1 c. nuts, chopped
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream brown sugar and butter or margarine in double boiler. Stir in sugar, eggs, salt, syrup and cream, and cook for 5 minutes over hot, NOT boiling water.
Remove from heat and stir in nuts and vanilla.
Pour into piecrust shell and bake 50 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Remove from oven and arrange about 7 walnut or pecan halves on top and bake 15 more minutes.
Serves 6.
