Hot Fudge Pudding Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cocoa
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. shortening, melted
    1 c. finely chopped nuts
    1 c. brown sugar, packed
    1/4 c. cocoa
    1 3/4 c. water
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Measure flour, sugar, 2 tablespoons cocoa, baking powder and salt. Blend in milk and shortening.
    Stir in nuts.
    Pour in ungreased 9 x 9-inch square pan.
    Stir together brown sugar and 1/4 cup cocoa.
    Sprinkle over batter.
    Pour hot water over batter.
    Bake 45 minutes.
    While warm, spoon cake into dessert dishes and spoon sauce over each serving. If desired, garnish with whipped cream or ice cream.
