Vidalia Onion Chips - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large onion, cut into 8 wedges
    1 egg
    1/2 c. milk
    1 c. flour
    1 c. dry bread crumbs
    1/4 tsp. Cajun seasoning
    oil for frying
Preparation
    Separate each wedge into chips.
    Place in ice water.
    Beat together the milk and egg.
    Remove chips from water; dip in flour, then egg mixture.
    Dip in bread crumbs and seasoning.
    Fry in hot oil until brown; drain.
