Basic Sweet Dough - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. milk, scalded
    1/4 c. Crisco
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 yeast cake
    1/4 c. lukewarm water
    2 well beaten eggs
    3 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    Scald milk.
    Add Crisco, sugar and salt.
    Let cool.
    Add yeast which was dissolved in warm water.
    Add well beaten eggs.
    Add flour gradually.
    Beat vigorously.
    Cover with foil.
    Let rise until double, about 2 hours.
    Shape into rolls, kuchens, etc.
    Let rise again until double in size.
    Bake in oven at 350\u00b0 for large things; bake at 400\u00b0 for rolls, etc.
