Mile High Meringue - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg whites
    1/2 c. water
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    6 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Mix cornstarch and sugar with water and boil until thick. Beat egg whites stiff.
    Then pour hot syrup into egg whites, continuing to beat.
    Pile meringue on pie.
    Brown if desired.
