Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. cornmeal
1 c. Bisquick or Pioneer mix
minced jalapenos (optional)
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 (No. 2) can creamed corn

Preparation

Stir ingredients to blend.
(No ingredient has been left out. This is all there is to the recipe!)
Drop scant tablespoonfuls of batter into deep hot oil.
Dough will rise and float.
When one side is well browned, flip the hush puppy over and continue cooking until other side is also well browned.
Tear into one to see if it is done.
Very good and simple recipe.
