Texas Hash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large onion, sliced
    1/2 green pepper, minced
    3 Tbsp. margarine
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 c. cooked tomatoes
    1/2 c. uncooked rice or 2 c. noodles
    1 tsp. chili powder
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Grease a 2-quart baking dish.
    Simmer onion and green pepper in margarine until yellow.
    Add ground beef; stir in cooked tomatoes, uncooked rice, chili powder, salt and pepper.
    Pour into baking dish; cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour, removing lid last 15 minutes.
