Do-Nuts - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. cream
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1 tsp. nutmeg
4 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
Preparation

Mix nutmeg, 1 cup flour, ginger, soda, baking powder and salt; gradually add the other 3 1/2 cups flour.
Mix with wet ingredients.
Roll out on floured board (place in refrigerator overnight if you want to).
Roll dough to about 3/8-inch to 1/2-inch thick.
Cook slowly in 2 or 3 pounds of lard.
