Funnel Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. milk
    pinch of salt
    2 beaten eggs
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    flour
    lard
Preparation
    Combine milk, salt, eggs, baking powder and enough flour to make a loose batter.
    Place lard in an iron skillet (enough to cover about 1-inch of dough).
    Heat and then begin pouring the batter through the funnel, beginning at the center of the pan and slowly pouring outward in a circular manner.
    Do not let the dough tangle the previously poured batter.
    When the cakes are light brown, remove them from the pan.
    Serve with maple syrup or jelly or powdered sugar.
