Grandmother Smith'S Gingerbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. brown sugar
    1/3 c. melted shortening
    2/3 c. molasses
    2/3 c. milk (sweet or sour)
    1 egg
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 1/2 c. unsifted flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients.
    Pour into an 8 x 8-inch or 9 x 9-inch lightly greased (Pam) pan.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven about 45 minutes.
