Fruit Sorbet - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. fresh strawberries, raspberries, peaches or pears
    1 to 1 1/2 c. fine granulated sugar
    1 or 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Prepare
    fruit\tby
    washing,
    hulling,\tpeeling
    and/or pitting as necessary.
    Puree
    in
    food
    processor
    or blender. Pour into large bowl and blend in just enough sugar to lightly sweeten.
    Add lemon juice, if desired.
    Chill thoroughly, then pour into 1 gallon\tcanister
    of
    ice
    cream
    maker.
    Pack ice and salt around canister and process until mixture is frozen. Keep frozen until serving time.\tMakes 10 servings.
