Make-Ahead Breakfast Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. breakfast sausage
    4 slices bread, cut into cubes
    2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar
    6 beaten eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. milk
Preparation
    In a large skillet, crumble the sausage and cook over medium heat until done. Drain on paper towels. Set aside.
    Slice the crusts off the bread and cut into cubes.
    Spread in the bottom of a buttered 9 x 13-inch pan. Top with sausage and cheese. Set aside.
    In mixing bowl, combine the eggs, salt and milk.
    Pour over cheese and sausage.
    Cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake, uncovered, in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 30 to 40 minutes.
    Serves 12 to 14.
