Date Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    scant 3/4 c. sugar
    5 Tbsp. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. dates, chopped
    1 c. nuts
Preparation
    Beat sugar and eggs together.
    Add baking powder to flour.
    Mix all together.
    Pour into 4 x 8-inch ungreased pan.
    Set inside pan of water.
    Bake in slow oven about 45 minutes.
    This raises and falls and is doughy when done.
    Serve with whipped cream.
