Sweet And Sour Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 lb. boneless, cubed chicken
    1 Tbsp. oil
    1 c. green and red pepper strips
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1/4 c. light cornstarch
    1 (8 oz.) can pineapple chunks in juice
    3 Tbsp. vinegar
    3 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 1/2 c. Minute instant brown rice
    1/2 tsp. ground ginger
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
Preparation
    In skillet, cook chicken in hot oil until browned.
    Add peppers; cook and stir 2 to 3 minutes.
    Add cornstarch and soy sauce.
    Add pineapple with juice, vinegar, sugar, ginger and garlic powder.
    Bring to full boil.
    Meanwhile, prepare rice as directed on package.
    Serve chicken mixture over rice.
    Makes 4 servings.
