Corn Sticks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 corn stick pan (iron)
    2 c. water ground corn meal
    1 egg
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 Tbsp. lard (butter)
Preparation
    Beat all together, adding melted lard last!
    Preheat oven to 450\u00b0.
    Pour batter into corn stick pan and bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
    Makes 1 dozen.
