Shrimp Gumbo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. shrimp
    shrimp stock
    1 c. flour
    1 c. vegetable oil
    2 large onions, chopped fine
    1 green pepper, chopped fine
    2 lb. cut okra (fresh or frozen)
    3 pods garlic, minced
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    salt to taste
    \"Cajun pepper\" to taste
    1/2 c. parsley
    1 c. onion tops
Preparation
    Peel shrimp and refrigerate. Put shells in a pot with about two quarts of water and simmer for 30 minutes. Strain the peelings from the liquid. Reduce by half.
    Congratulations! You have just made shrimp stock. Keep it hot on the back of the stove.
