Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. flour, sifted
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 c. milk
    1 can fruit (any kind)
    3/4 c. sugar
Preparation
    Melt butter in 9 x 12 x 2-inch baking pan.
    Stir 1 cup sugar, flour, baking powder and milk.
    Mix and pour over butter melted in pan.
    Mix fruit and 3/4 cup sugar.
    Spoon over batter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until brown, about 45 minutes.
