Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. dry yeast
2 Tbsp. lukewarm water
5 to 5 1/2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
4 Tbsp. sugar (may use sweetener)
3/4 c. shortening
2 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water.
Sift together dry ingredients; cut in shortening.
Add yeast and buttermilk to dry mixture.
Knead dough on floured board until it holds together. Roll dough to 1/2-inch thickness.
Cut with biscuit cutter and dip biscuits in melted oleo or butter and place on pan.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
