Shoney'S Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. cornstarch
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 box strawberry jello
    red food coloring
    fresh strawberries
    2 pie shells, baked
    Cool Whip
Preparation
    Cook cornstarch, sugar and water until it gets thick.
    Add dry jello and a few drops red food coloring.
    Cover bottom of pie shells with strawberries, then pour in filling.
    Chill and top with Cool Whip.
